Moose Lodge is a rare and authentic Victorian Adirondack hunting lodge. Over one hundred years old, it was built entirely by the craftsmen and artisans in the "rustic "style. The executives of the railroad commissioned this as their hunting lodge in the spirit of the great "camps” of the Adirondack's of this period. It is a 2 to 2.5 hour drive north of Manhattan located in the Catskill mountains. The interior and exterior are original with many many “props”. The living room has a moose head over the fireplace surrounded by a deer head on each side. There are three bedrooms, one bedroom suite, two baths and 4 fireplaces. The Victorian wrap around porch and patio have plenty of adirondack furniture. Situated on a secluded fifty acres of the mountainside, right off of the county road, it is easily accessible  at any time of the year. The grounds are two tiered and landscaped with several settings including stone walls, gardens, lawns and a logging trail clear up to the mountaintop! The lodge also overlooks the mountains across of the valley separated by the Esopus creek. There are waterfalls up the road and a few lakes nearby which have been rented in the past. A well known ski resort is nearby in addition to an acclaimed resort and spa. A highly acclaimed Zagat rated restaurant is within a mile or two as well. There is lodging all around the area and catering is easily available.

The Lodge is rented for commercial use only.
